Coordinating CONJUNCTIONS
A coordinating conjunction is a word that joins two parts of a sentence. They can join two verbs, two nouns, two adjectives, two phrases, or two independent clauses. The coordinating conjunctions we will be focusing on are: for, and, nor, but, or, yet, and so. They are easily remembered as FANBOYS. These coordinating conjunctions need a comma before you use them.
